Went to the redhill this evening. Met a bunch of random people and had a great time with them, also had a wide selection of sake/shochu available

Nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly, and there you can find many people the get in touch.Completely recommended (if you're there try UME sake, quite impressive)

This place deserves 10 stars! The owner is an ultra cool woman who has made this tiny place into such a cool and unique bar. Many drink options and great prices. She gave us a cool origami samurai helmet as a gift. Place has a great vibe and you can easily sit there for hours.

This bar is tucked away on a quiet street in Takayama and is absolutely perfect. The owner is the loveliest person ever and her music taste is sublime. Good drinks, great price, amazing atmosphere.

Great little bar to get lost in. If you need that Guinness fix in Takayama, then come here.We're currently listening to Bueno Vista Social Club and drinking Sake.Do it!But don't expect a British Pub.

Great pub run by a lovely lady. Bar is filled with memorabilia and guest books filled by fellow (slightly tipsy) fans which is fun to read whilst sipping your drink. In the toilets I particularly liked the postcards from Redhill, UK (pictured)

This bar was the best bar I've visited in Japan. The host is a lovely lady who loves cats! She will always fill up your bar snacks! She makes a great rum and coke.

A must in Takayama

Loved the bar. One of the best places to relax and drink after touring the beautiful sights of Takayama. We had a great time amongst ourselves and also met some really coolPeople who were travelling just like us. Overall, it’s a small town and being here for a couple of days made us feel like locals and homely. Needless to say, the bartenders and the master were amazing!
